Refund and Return Policy

Thank you for shopping with Silk Route Handicraft. We take pride in the quality and craftsmanship of our handmade rugs and carpets. To ensure your complete satisfaction, we have established the following Refund and Return Policy.
1. Returns
Eligibility for Returns
- Timeframe: You may return an item within 30 days from the date of delivery.
- Condition: The item must be unused, in its original condition, and with all tags, labels, and packaging intact. Items that have been altered or damaged are not eligible for return.
- Exclusions: Custom-made or personalized items are non-returnable unless they are defective or damaged upon receipt.
Return Process

- Return Authorization: We will issue you a Return Authorization Number (RAN) and provide instructions for returning the item.
- Pack the Item: Carefully pack the item in its original packaging. Include a copy of the original receipt or order confirmation along with the RAN.
- Ship the Item: Send the return to the address provided by our Customer Service team. You are responsible for the return shipping costs unless the return is due to a defect or error on our part.
2. Refunds
Processing Refunds
- Inspection: Once we receive and inspect the returned item, we will notify you via email about the status of your refund.
- Refund Method: Refunds will be issued to the original payment method used for the purchase. Please allow 5-10 business days for the refund to appear on your account, depending on your financial institution.
- Partial Refunds: If only part of your order is returned, a partial refund will be processed based on the items returned and the condition they are in.
Refund Exceptions
- Shipping Costs: Original shipping charges are non-refundable, except in cases where we have made an error or the item is defective.
- Restocking Fee: We do not charge a restocking fee. However, if the item is returned in a condition other than how it was received, we may deduct the cost of any damages from your refund.
3. Defective or Incorrect Items

We currently do not offer exchanges. If you would like a different item, please return the original item and place a new order.
